I was very interested in researching and trying out this product. I love my new MBT walk shoes. They do take a little getting used to, but they are fairly easy to walk in. I am looking forward to benefiting from my shoes in the future. My reasons for purchasing this type of shoe is for my continual low back pain, and in hopes of helping me get in better shape with my lower half. And ordering from Zappos could not be easier! And your merchandise comes fairly quickly!

The MBT shoe was recommended to me by a podiatrist to enable my walking with less pain from arthritis in my knee and ankle. I have been wearing the shoes for two months and find them hugely successful. We have traveled in Europe and London for the past four weeks, and I have walked most of every day on cobblestone streets with no joint pain! I am very pleased with the result, and thrilled to be able to walk long distances again.

Greetings!I am sooooo pleased with my MBT's. The first time I wore them, my thighs, back of my legs and hips felt as if I had never known them (LOL). Muscles that have NEVER been used were being activated! I tired after half a block. Slowly but surely, I started to feel rejuvenated after a walk and tons of energy! I LOVE MY MBT'S and will purchase more, when I get a job. They are an investment, however, well worth it. Zappos shipping was fast and I only have good things to say to others about Zappos and MBT's. I am so very pleased!

What cool shoes! I love them! I have been putting off getting these because of the price. I saw that Skechers put similar ones out for less, but what corners did they cut? I finally went for these instead of the most expensive model. After reading all the reviews about sizing, and knowing how this always works for me, I ordered a full size larger, and I'm glad I did. Even with that, right now while they are new I am wearing my thinnest socks with them. These feel fantastic and I will echo other reviewers: yes, they are worth the money! If I were a nurse or otherwise on my feet all day, I would want these shoes. I was afraid I would be tottering and have to get used to them, but they felt perfectly natural right out of the box. Standing still, I have a tendency to rock back a bit on my heels, which has my calves stretching perfectly. And a nice side effect: I'm taller in them!

Jury is still out. I followed the Zappos recommendation and ordered a half size larger than normal, but they still feel a little small. My toes are jammed all the way to the front. I can wear them, but they're not as comfortable as I think they're supposed to be. Am now ordering a full size larger for comparison. I think they'll be comfortable, though they'll take a little getting used to once I get the correct size, but only time will tell.

These are the cutest MBT shoes I have ever tried on out of the many pairs I have either purchased or tried. They actually look way more normal and the color is really subtle and cute as well. I have other MBT\'s that fit in my \'real\' size so I ordered 1/2 size up as other reviewers recommended. They are still too short! I wear 6 and had to send back the 6 1/2 for a 7. Love the fact that Zappos is great about returns and since I have already ordered the size 7, I will have them by tomorrow!

MBT, Masai Barefoot Technology, is the brainchild of Swiss engineer Karl Müller. While visiting Korea Müller discovered that walking on paddy fields barefoot eliminated his back pain. Upon returning to Switzerland, Müller started to develop a shoe that would duplicate the feeling of walking over those paddy fields, sand or any other soft natural terrain. It took several years but in 1996 MBT shoes were ready to be released to the world. Since then, MBT shoes are now sold in over twenty countries and sell approximately 1,000,000 pairs a year.
