The M.Walk is my favorite for walking because it runs a little narrower for women?s feet and it fits like a glove. However, you do need to buy it 1/2 size larger to fit perfectly. These MBT shoes are supposed to fit like a glove and not have a ton of toe room like many are used to in regular shoes so you also need to get used to the more snug fit. These fit right in the 1/2 size larger. I have others that don?t fit right because MBT has a problem with making the women?s shoes more narrow. They got it right in this design which is why it is my favorite now for walking and shopping. However, this is NOT my favorite for working out on my Leg Magic and my Gazelle Sprintmaster Elite and my Proform Activator V5 or Wii Fit workouts because the M.Walk has more higher bounce and I do not need that high bounce on these machines so I love my MBT Tataga style shoe because it is VERY LOW bounce and so it works best for standing still on those machines so MBT Tataga is my workout shoes. The MBT Tataga is True to Size for a snug glove fit like it is suppose to be and so I got that in my TRUE size for workouts. Tataga is OK for walking, but no where near as great as the M.Walk for shopping and walking. Hope this helps someone! Enjoy! These MBT shoes made it possible for me to get off a walker and not have to use a scooter and now back pain and foot pain free for years as I have used them for 6 years! I can now walk for hours with no pain and do all those exercise machines wonderfully! I threw away all my orthotics because MBT solved all the problems! Worth every penny!

I bought this pair of shoes for my mother for her birthday. She?s had terrible problems with her feet. They arrived on time for her birthday, and she absolutely loves them. They eliminate all of the pressure from the balls of the feet.

I just LOVE this shoes. I initially bought this shoes because of my back. I can\'t believe I never knew about MBT shoes before! It\'s a little pricey but I highly recommend this shoes to everyone! I am sure I will buy more with different styles. \r\n\r\nI bought a half inch bigger than my size and it fits perfectly.\r\n

Shoes are great. Take some getting used to, but they do make things better, especially walking. Haven?t tried working out in them. Changes your balance and posture for the better.

These shoes have been a blessing. I have Neuroma on both feet, plantar fasciitis on both feet and a heel spur on one foot. I have spent hundreds of dollars on podiatrists, orthotics, and all kinds of shoes. Until these shoes, nothing helped heal my problem. These have been worth every penny spent! My feet are better than they have been in years and actually seem to be healing. NO PAIN! They do run small and this style required a full size up from my normal size for a good fit. Plus, you have the best customer service on the net. When I had to exchange for a larger size you made it as painless as the shoe.

Wow!
I bought these very expensive shoes with the hope of getting more exercise during my everyday activities. I do not have back problems like so many who also purchase these shoes, but simply wanted to use more muscle when walking about. I am very happy with them. I can feel a difference in my posture, muscle tone from my abdominals and back all the way down the front and back of my legs. I have not had soreness, but was an active person to start with. I am planning on buying the dark more 'work-like' shoes for the fall. YES, they are expensive and kind of clunky, but I would do it again.

MBT, Masai Barefoot Technology, is the brainchild of Swiss engineer Karl Müller. While visiting Korea Müller discovered that walking on paddy fields barefoot eliminated his back pain. Upon returning to Switzerland, Müller started to develop a shoe that would duplicate the feeling of walking over those paddy fields, sand or any other soft natural terrain. It took several years but in 1996 MBT shoes were ready to be released to the world. Since then, MBT shoes are now sold in over twenty countries and sell approximately 1,000,000 pairs a year.
