This shoe is really comfortable. I ordered 1/2 size larger, and kept it so I could wear thicker socks. I also tried 2 other styles and would have needed the 1/2 size larger just to fit. Would recommend for anyone to help your posture.

Great choice for me. I stand on my feet all day on concrete floors and find that my feet and back no longer bother me as they did. I am glad I decided to make the investment.

Very comfortable and very easy to get used to. First day, I forgot I had them on and wore them around the house for about four hours. I did notice that my legs were tired and realized why. There is definitely toning of the calves. Not seen any change in the rear yet. I did not follow the recommendation that I read somewhere about going down one half size. With socks, the shoe is about one half size too large. It is still comfortable and I just wear slightly thicker socks. The shoes look much better in person and give the illusion that your feet are smaller.

Best shoe I've ever had!
This shoe eliminated my foot pain! I have Frieberg's disease, and bought these as my last resort before surgery. Thanks goodness I tried them. What a miracle. I now bought the MaryJane style Tunisha too.

I thought I was a huge MBT fan. I have a pair of sandals that I never took off all summer. They just seemed to soothe my back. These tennis shoes have been a disaster for me. To get the proper length I had to get a little bit larger. When I got larger, the heel is entirely too wide and slips. I made the mistake of keeping them, thinking I could use heel grips. I'm now stuck with a very expensive pair of shoes that I can't wear.

Looking for some help. I have had a pair of MBT's for over two years and I can't wear them comfortably for very long. I always blister on the inside of one heal with the motion of the foot. I've tried pads on the tongue inside the heal, different lacing. Anyone have a similar problem and find a solution?

Great shoes! I am an individual who typically wears heels everyday to work and when I would switch to a sport shoe (like Nike). During the weekend my back would hurt and I was not even wearing the shoes all day. I decided to try these for the multiple benefits they provide (better posture, strengthen core...). My recommendation would be to only wear these a few hours a day initially (I believe the DVD also instructs to do that as well) then increase the time you wear these. I can now wear these all day on the weekends without issue and now no more backaches. I don't think I will ever switch back to a normal sport shoe again. One additional note on size...I am in between an 8.5 & 9. I went with the 8.5 and had no issues.

I have two pair of MBT shoes and absolutely love them. My wife wanted a second pair and since the factory didn't have the style she wanted... we tried Zappos. The first pair didn't fit. The second pair didn't fit either. We went with a different style and they fit perfect. The customer service was outstanding. The agent walked me through the return process and even sent me the (free) return label while I was on the phone. She guaranteed me the shoes the next day - and this was December 23, 09. Unbelievable.

MBT, Masai Barefoot Technology, is the brainchild of Swiss engineer Karl Müller. While visiting Korea Müller discovered that walking on paddy fields barefoot eliminated his back pain. Upon returning to Switzerland, Müller started to develop a shoe that would duplicate the feeling of walking over those paddy fields, sand or any other soft natural terrain. It took several years but in 1996 MBT shoes were ready to be released to the world. Since then, MBT shoes are now sold in over twenty countries and sell approximately 1,000,000 pairs a year.
