These shoes are incredible! They make you feel like you can do anything, very energetic and bouncy! It does take a few times to get the hang of walking in them, but well worth it. They run small so order 1/2 to 1 full size larger than you would normally.

I absolutely love my new MBT\'S. I have been having trouble with my feet for a while and decide to go the extra mile and try these out. I can\'t tell you the improvement they have made for me. The spring has returned to my gait. I no longer limp when I walk. I\'m getting ready to buy a second pair. I did buy a half size bigger than I usually wear, going by others review that they run a bit small. They fit perfectly. Thanks for helping my feet problems. I would recommend these to everyone, I feel like I\'m walking on a cloud, whenever I wear these.

These shoes are not pretty, but I love them. They really do make me work a little harder to balance, walk, etc. and consequently my back feels better and my legs are firmer. They are a bit on the pricey side, but since I now have 3 pair I obviously think they are worth it.

The MBT sandal has made it possible for me to shop and trudge through airports! I wanted an enclosed shoe & ordered several pairs. Because of reviews, I ordered 1/2 size larger. MBT says all their shoes are made on the same last. Not so! This style was almost too short and had no toe wiggle room, so back it goes! (Thanks, Zappos!) I'm not disappointed since this was my least favorite style. The others are white.

I first bought the tan and black Tatagas and absolutely love them. I am a regular 8, but needed a 9 2/3 in the Tataga, as the toe box is a bit short. I then wanted the other color combination, but it wasn't available. So I got the black. They're not quite as comfortable as the tan & black, but they're okay, and I do enjoy the less pronounced roll the Tataga has, compared to the 5 other pairs of MBTs I own.

Ordered and received MBT Tataga sneakers. Love them. Ordered 1/2 size larger than usual after reading reviews and they are a perfect fit. Told my son and he now owns a pair of MBT. My feet always hurt before and now I can't get over how a pair of MBT has taken care of that problem. My friend from Switzerland suggested that I try MBT and she was so right. I will continue to buy only MBT. Great shoe for comfort. I want to try a sandal next time, too.

I absolutely love this shoe! They rock! I bought it a full size larger than I normally wear, based on other comments, and the fact that all the half sizes were sold out! Also, I tend to wear thicker socks with sneakers. Well, the fit was spot on! Comfy right out of the box, and they weren't too cracked out looking either! I know they tend to not be the most attractive shoes, but the beige Tataga model is super cute! I'm not really a sneaker girl, I love wearing John Fluevog, fun shoe styles like that, but I'm trying to find shoes that are comfy and good for my back since I have degenerative disk disease and it doesn't take much for a shoe to throw out my back. Right now my back is acting up terribly but I had to run an errand this evening. I put on my new MBTs (which did look pretty cute) and went out. Normally an errand like that where I had to walk a bit and then stand on line would have made it much worse. But it didn't. In fact, the pain lessened from before. I can only think that the shoe had at least something to do with it, since that is the only thing different that I have done today. I know these shoes are not cheap, but I think that they are worth every cent, and I'm not even on my second day of wearing them. I can't wait to save up for the Mary Janes and the crazy looking black boots! Thanks MBT and Zappos!

Great shoes! These are my second pair of MBTs, and I have no plans on buying any other type. I have an arthritic great toe, and limp after an hour or two of walking in "normal" comfort shoes. I wore these exclusively on a trip to Japan - lots of walking - with no foot pain and no limping until I had to take them off and climb lots of steps for a castle tour. I was so happy to put my shoes back on!\r\n\r\nThe rocker sole on these isn\'t as thick as other models so it\'s not as "weird" looking. They still work just as well, though.

Shoes are GREAT, except that the sizing is slightly small. The left foot (which is slightly bigger) hits the end of the shoe. Don't usually have that problem in this size. So, I'm having to return it, but otherwise they felt great!

I like the look of the MBT Mary Jane style, but could not find a pair that were wide enough in the toe box without slipping in the heel. I did not want the sprightly colored sneaker styles, because I needed to be able to wear my shoes at work, so I chose the relatively innocuous style of Tataga, in black. The laces help me to get a better fit. I got 1/2 size larger than I usually wear, because so many reviewers said they run small. While these seemed to be comfortable in the toe box, after I wore them for a few days, I felt some looseness in the heel of, oddly, just the right shoe. So I stuck a Dr. Scholl's insert to the top back of the shoe. This, and socks seem to help. Perhaps I could have worn the next size down, but it was too late to exchange them, since I'd worn them outside. The black color is neutral and my longest slacks cover the shoes a bit. I feel a little awkward wearing these because of the rocking heel, and well, they are just not very girly. I've been wearing them now for 2 weeks, and got them because I had heard they have helped folks who struggle with the pain of plantar fasciitis. There wasn't any instant relief, or anything. But I've also been getting some pretty aggressive physical therapy which seems to be helping, so I couldn't say for sure how much the shoes have helped in that regard. There is a weird warm, tingly feeling that I got in my feet and calves during the first week or so. I gather that is from the action unused muscles have been getting. Also, the arch of my non-plantar fasciitis foot has been sore, which has scared me a bit, but I think it is just from adjusting to the shoe. Once I fixed the bit of heel slip, my feet felt pretty good in the shoes. I don't like wearing them so much if I am just standing around, but for walking they are great. They kind of push you off for each step. I took a 1 1/2 mile walk the other day, and was afraid the p.f. would feel worse, but it didn't. I got around okay, and did not feel an increase in pain the next day. I do feel pretty energetic in these shoes.

MBT, Masai Barefoot Technology, is the brainchild of Swiss engineer Karl Müller. While visiting Korea Müller discovered that walking on paddy fields barefoot eliminated his back pain. Upon returning to Switzerland, Müller started to develop a shoe that would duplicate the feeling of walking over those paddy fields, sand or any other soft natural terrain. It took several years but in 1996 MBT shoes were ready to be released to the world. Since then, MBT shoes are now sold in over twenty countries and sell approximately 1,000,000 pairs a year.
